Warranty Information

At Flux Home Services, our commitment is to deliver exceptional, long-lasting results. We stand confidently behind the durability and quality of our workmanship on every project. For your complete assurance, we provide the following comprehensive warranty:

We provide a 3-year warranty for residential sealer applications. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and material failure, including: cracking, peeling, flaking, chipping, or yellowing

If any of those problems occur, we will perform the necessary repairs at no cost to you.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • While we stand behind the quality of our work, certain conditions are outside the scope of our warranty. The following issues are not covered:

Biological Growth & Pests

  • Ants and Other Insects: Sealing cannot prevent ants or pests from tunneling through sand joints.

  • Weeds, Algae, and Mold: Sealing significantly slows growth but cannot eliminate it entirely.

Natural Processes

  • Efflorescence: The natural migration of salts to the surface of pavers or stone is not preventable by sealing.

  • Paver Degradation: Normal wear and erosion from weather, traffic, or water runoff are expected over time.

  • Acts of Nature / Acts of God: Damage caused by extreme weather or natural events is not covered.

Stains & Surface Conditions

  • Stains: We remove as much staining as current technology allows, but some stains may be permanently embedded. Complete removal is not guaranteed. In some cases, replacement pavers may be the only solution.

  • White or Milky Appearance: This condition is caused by non-breathable sealers.

  • Aesthetic Variability: Levels of sheen, shine, and enhancement may vary based on paver quality, porosity, and previous treatments.

Joint Sand Loss

Some sand loss over time is normal. Many environmental factors can contribute to joint erosion, including:

  • High or low spots in the paver system

  • Pavers spaced more than 1/4" apart

  • Shifting or settling pavers

  • Improper or missing edge restraints

  • Heavy rain, roof runoff, downspouts, pool cage drip lines, or frequent water exposure

  • Previous use of polymeric sand

Because these conditions are beyond our control, joint sand loss is not covered under warranty.

Slip Resistance

  • We cannot guarantee that any surface will be completely slip-free. Anti-slip additives can be used where appropriate but do not eliminate all risk.

Stripping & Previously Treated Surfaces

  • Surfaces that require stripping prior to sealing are not warrantied.

  • We also cannot guarantee outcomes on areas previously sealed with other products.

Tire Marks

  • Friction-related tire marks or scuffs on driveways are not covered under warranty.

Plant or Property-Adjacent Effects

  • While precautions are taken, some plants may react to cleaning solutions. If you experience any damaged foliage or grass surrounding the paver areas, water those areas directly & vigorously for the next 10 days.

How to Maintain Your Warranty

To keep your warranty active, you must schedule an annual maintenance service 12 to 15 months of the initial sealing. Failure to do so will void your warranty.

What May Void Your Warranty

To protect the integrity of your sealed surface and ensure we can confidently stand behind our work, certain actions or conditions may void your warranty. These measures help maintain the quality of the installation and uphold the professional standards we extend to every customer.

1. Customer Neglect or Improper Maintenance

Your warranty may be voided if the surface is damaged due to improper care, including but not limited to:

  • Pressure washing the sealed area

  • Applying your own sealant or coating

  • Using harsh chemicals, acids, or abrasive tools

  • Scrubbing or mechanically disturbing the surface

These actions can break down the sealer, alter the finish, or cause damage that cannot be covered under warranty.

2. Allowing Another Contractor to Work on the Surface

If another company or individual performs cleaning, sealing, repairs, or any type of service on the sealed surface after our work, the warranty becomes void. We cannot guarantee or be held responsible for results affected by someone else’s workmanship or products.

3. Non-Payment or Partial Payment

Failure to pay in full upon job completion—including issuing a bad check—will void the warranty. Warranty coverage is only valid when the project is fully paid for.

4. Disrespectful or Abusive Behavior Toward Staff

Repeated rudeness, hostility, or abusive language directed at our team will void the warranty and terminate future service.
We maintain a professional and respectful environment and expect the same courtesy in return.

5. Publicly Damaging the Company’s Reputation

Leaving intentionally harmful or slanderous online reviews, or publicly misrepresenting our work in a way that affects our ability to serve customers, may void your warranty and end the customer–business relationship. We are committed to customer satisfaction and encourage any concerns to be addressed directly with us so they can be resolved professionally. We value open communication and strong customer relationships. If any issues arise, we encourage you to reach out so we can address concerns quickly and maintain the quality and longevity of your sealed surfaces.
